Tippnez, a Florida business ("Tippnez", "we", "us", "our"), operates this service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use tippnez.com and our related services. By using Tippnez, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
Information you provide: Name, email address, and bank account details (processed by Stripe, not stored by us).
Information collected automatically: Device type, browser type, IP address, pages visited, and usage patterns. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
Payment data: All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, bank account numbers, or other sensitive financial data on our servers. We store only transaction amounts, timestamps, and Stripe account identifiers necessary to operate the platform.
We use your information to: create and maintain your account, process payments and payouts through Stripe, send transactional emails (tip notifications, payout confirmations, account alerts), display your name on your tip page, track referral bonuses, and improve the platform. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We share information with the following third-party services as necessary to operate the platform:
Stripe — Payment processing, bank account connections, and payouts. Stripe's privacy policy applies to data they collect. See stripe.com/privacy.
Resend — Transactional email delivery (tip notifications, account emails). See resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Vercel — Website hosting and infrastructure.
Neon — Database hosting (encrypted at rest and in transit).
We do not share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
Closing your account hides your tip page and keeps that email reserved so you can restore the same account. Payment and referral history stay on that account. Closing an account is not a request to erase personal data. An erasure request is separate: we may still have to keep financial records, and we can anonymize or release personal identifiers only after that retention is handled. Email support@tippnez.com to ask. Stripe retains payment data according to their own policies.
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure database connections, and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
You have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, delete your account and associated data, and request a copy of your data. To exercise these rights, email support@tippnez.com.
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. Tippnez is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.
