By creating an account on Tippnez, a Florida business (tippnez.com), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
Tippnez provides a QR code-based payment platform for service workers to receive cashless payments via Apple Pay, Google Pay, and credit/debit cards. We are a payment facilitation platform, not a bank, employer, or financial advisor.
You must provide your name and email to create an account. You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of the United States. You are responsible for all activity under your account. One person may only maintain one active account.
Tippnez charges a platform fee of 5% of each tip, with a maximum platform fee of $10.00. There are no monthly fees, setup fees, or hidden charges. Tippnez reserves the right to modify the fee structure with 30 days advance notice via email.
To receive payouts, you must connect a valid U.S. bank account via Stripe Connect. By connecting your bank, you also agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement, including the Stripe Terms of Service. Payouts are made daily on a 2-day rolling schedule. Tippnez is not responsible for delays caused by your bank, Stripe, or payment network outages.
If you receive payments without a connected bank account, funds are held on your behalf. If you do not connect a bank account within 12 months of your first held payment, those funds will be forfeited. Tippnez will send reminder emails at 9 months and 11 months before any forfeiture.
You may close your account yourself. That hides the tip page and keeps the email reserved so you can restore the same account with a login link. It does not create a second account and it does not erase payment history. Accounts with a $0 balance and no activity for 24 consecutive months may be automatically deleted. You will receive an email notification at least 30 days before deletion.
Payments received through Tippnez may constitute taxable income. You are solely responsible for reporting and paying all applicable federal, state, and local taxes on payments received through the platform. Tippnez does not provide tax advice and is not responsible for your tax obligations. If required by law, Tippnez or Stripe may issue tax forms (such as a 1099-K) based on your transaction volume.
You may customize the preset payment amounts displayed on your tip page. You are responsible for setting appropriate amounts. Tippnez is not responsible for any amounts you choose to display.
You may earn $1.00 for each new user you refer who receives their first payment through the platform. Referral bonuses are added to your account balance and paid out through the normal payout process. Tippnez reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the referral program at any time. Abuse of the referral program, including creating fake accounts, will result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of all referral bonuses.
Tippnez may offer rewards such as branded merchandise to users who reach certain milestones. Rewards have no cash value and are non-transferable. Tippnez reserves the right to modify eligibility criteria, substitute rewards of comparable value, or discontinue any rewards program at any time. Shipping is limited to U.S. addresses. Tippnez is not responsible for lost or damaged shipments once tendered to the carrier.
You may not use Tippnez for illegal purposes, money laundering, fraudulent transactions, self-tipping to manipulate referral bonuses, or in violation of any applicable laws. You may not reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the platform. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.
The Tippnez name, logo, "T" mark, QR code designs, website, and all associated branding are the property of Tippnez. You may not use Tippnez branding, logos, or trademarks for any purpose without prior written permission. Your user-generated content (such as your display name) remains yours, but you grant Tippnez a non-exclusive license to display it on your tip page and in the platform.
Tippnez does not process refunds for completed payments. Disputes between tippers and recipients are handled through Stripe's dispute resolution process. You are responsible for any chargebacks, including Stripe's chargeback fees, and authorize Tippnez to deduct chargeback amounts from your balance.
Tippnez relies on third-party services including Stripe (payment processing), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Apple Wallet, and Google Wallet. Tippnez is not responsible for outages, errors, or policy changes by these third-party providers. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tippnez, its owner, and anyone working on its behalf from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or any dispute between you and a tipper or other third party.
Tippnez is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Tippnez is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim related to the platform shall not exceed the total fees you have paid to Tippnez in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Tippnez shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, conducted in Palm Beach County, Florida. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration. Either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction. This section shall survive termination of your account.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Upon termination, held funds are subject to the Held Funds policy above. Tippnez may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any reason at our discretion.
We may update these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
